At Mendocino College PT faculty budget slashed by $150,000

In an unprecedented move, the faculty, staff and administration of Mendocino College have agreed to a 4 percent salary reduction beginning January 1. All regular employees, from classified workers to the superintendent/president will be earning 4 percent less for a period of 18 months. According to Vice President of Administrative Services Larry Perryman, the voluntary reduction in pay will save the college more than $600,000 over the 18-month period.
