The Department of Chemical Engineering at Lakehead University invites applications for a three-year limited term appointment in Chemical Engineering at the rank of Assistant Professor commencing August 1, 2018. The Department offers an accredited Bachelor of Engineering program and contributes to several graduate programs.
The successful candidate will teach three full-course equivalents (six half-credit courses) per year. Course assignments will cover chemical engineering undergraduate and graduate level courses. The successful candidate will also be expected to collaborate in, or develop, a research program. All research areas related to Chemical Engineering will be considered. An earned (or soon to be earned) PhD in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field is required. Relevant industrial experience would be a definite asset. Registration or eligibility to register, as a Professional Engineer in Canada is required.
