The department of Accounting & Finance, School of Business, St. John Fisher College, Rochester, New York invites nominations and applications for a visiting faculty position in finance, starting fall 2018. This is a one-year appointment, with the potential to renew at the end of the first year. The position is of open rank, which will depend on the qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is full time and will qualify for employee benefits. Salary is negotiable. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US, and available to start teaching in fall 2018.

Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have the background and/or experience to teach a variety of finance courses in in corporate finance, investments, and financial planning, primarily at the undergraduate level. Visiting faculty in the department carry a four-four teaching load and are expected to show a commitment to teaching and perform service to the department, college and the profession.

Education / Experience
To be considered qualified for the position, applications should have the requisite combination of education and experience, as follows. Those with a Master's Degree (MBA or MSF) from an AACSB accredited institution should have prior experience teaching at the college level and substantial relevant professional experience in finance. PhDs in finance, DBAs in finance and those who are ABD in a doctoral finance program should have attended or are attending an AACSB accredited institution. Seasoned PhDs should have an established publication record.

Competencies / Skills
Competencies/Skills: Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate the ability to be an effective teacher and a collaborative team player. Having financial certifications such as CFA are a plus.
