Lecturer of Mathematics

Full-time, Non-tenure-track faculty, Position: #F0332

The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science invites applications for a lecturer in mathematics (position #F0332) to begin January 2018. Professional responsibilities include teaching 15 credit hours per semester of undergraduate mathematics courses, including quantitative reasoning courses in Longwood's new Core Curriculum and courses for mathematics majors.

Qualifications: Ph.D. in Mathematics strongly preferred, ABD or Master's in Mathematics considered. 18 graduate hours in Mathematics required. Successful college teaching experience preferred. Experience teaching mathematics with technology preferred. Salary is $42,000 plus benefits.
