The Department of Romance Languages and Literatures at Binghamton University seeks a Visiting Assistant Professor of Italian, beginning in August 2019, to teach courses in Italian language, culture, and literature at all levels of our curriculum (elementary through MA). This is a three-year, full-time position with the possibility of renewal, a teaching load of three courses per semester (with the option to teach on campus or online during winter and summer breaks), and some departmental service.

Requirements:
Candidates must hold a PhD (specialization open), have native or near-native fluency in both Italian and English, and have a demonstrated record of excellence in teaching Italian language, literature, and culture at all levels (elementary through graduate).
