The Department of Communication Arts in the College of the Arts seeks applicants for a Lecturer. The position is an academic (ten-month) position. All faculty share the responsibility of teaching courses at multiple levels as needed in their respective disciplines. To carry out our comprehensive mission, we seek faculty with the desire and ability to successfully engage students as they launch or continue their intellectual journey, a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and learning, as well as scholarship, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion. The position will be responsible for teaching courses in technology-related courses in public relations, application of social media, graphic, and digital media design. Other teaching assignments possible based on qualifications and experience. Courses may be delivered in traditional, online, hybrid, and in off-campus formats.
