The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE) at the University of Central Florida (UCF) is seeking to fill a full-time lecturer position with an anticipated start date of January 2019. The lecturer will be primarily responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in mechanical or aerospace engineering.

The MAE Department offers B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degree programs. Both BSAE and BSME programs are ABET-accredited. MAE is home to 41 full-time faculty members and several adjuncts. The reputation of the department and university is continually growing with numerous faculty achievements including NSF CAREER awards, an ONR Young Investigator Award, and fellowships in professional societies. Position Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must have a Ph.D. from an accredited institution in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related discipline by the time of the appointment.

Teaching experience at the university level and/or industry experience are preferred.
