Position description
Key responsibilities include:
* Course development: Develop and teach courses focusing on industry-specific trends, leadership development, networking strategies, and professional growth for MBA students.
* Course delivery: Foster an inclusive, engaging, and dynamic learning environment with practical exercises and hands-on projects.
Course Descriptions are as follows:
MGB 405Y: Financial Theory and Policy
Covers the fundamental principles of corporate financial management and capital markets. Major topics include general valuation methods for risky cash flow streams, capital budgeting, asset pricing models, risk management, equity financing, debt financing, and dividend policy.
MGT 460A and B: Corporate Finance
This course will study valuation techniques in applied settings, study a variety of investment decisions, and analyze how capital structure considerations play a role in firm's investment policies.
Courses are taught with an in-person component either at our Davis campus or at a satellite campus in San Ramon. Some courses require remote instructional components. There may be opportunities for additional finance courses.
Qualifications
Basic qualifications (required at time of application)
- Ph.D. degree in Finance or a closely related field OR
- A Master's degree in Finance or a closely related field and five years of current, relevant professional experience.
