The East Asian Languages and Literatures Department at Hamilton College invites applications for two one-year Teaching Fellow positions in Chinese, beginning on August 1, 2025. The positions may be renewed for one additional year, contingent on funding renewal and performance review. A B.A., M.A., or current enrollment in an M.A. program in Chinese language pedagogy or related areas is required, and experience teaching Chinese as a second language is preferred. The teaching fellows will assist full-time faculty members in teaching Chinese language courses. We are seeking candidates who can demonstrate their experience in teaching or working with diverse student populations. Primary work responsibilities will include individual sessions and grading. The teaching fellows will receive a stipend of $13,375, room, board, health insurance, round-trip transportation to and from Hamilton College from their home, and tuition benefits.
