NOCCCD is now accepting applications for Horticulture Instructors at Fullerton College!

The award of all degrees must be verifiable on a legible transcript. If degree award date is not posted on transcript your application will be deemed incomplete and removed from consideration.

Grade cards will not be accepted in lieu of transcripts.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or higher AND two years of professional experience directly related to the teaching assignment;

OR

Any associate degree AND six years of professional experience directly related to the teaching assignment;

OR

Possess a valid California teaching credential authorizing service in a community college in the appropriate subject matter area.

Desirable Qualifications:

Expertise in culturally responsive teaching in horticulture, particularly as it relates to the relevance of horticulture to the students lives, interest, and communities; demonstrate ability to address equity gaps of racially minoritized groups within horticulture.

Working Conditions:

Salary Range: $1391.74 - $1527.30 per lecture unit rate, $1391.74 - $1527.30 per lab parity unit rate, $1113.42 - $1221.77 per lab unit rate

Special Instructions Summary:
This recruitment will remain active for a period of one year, from the position opening date. If there is no longer a need to fill, the position may be closed sooner, and applicants will be notified.

This is a continuous recruitment to fill part-time, and temporary faculty assignments on an as-needed basis. When the need to fill arises, the department will refer to this pool of part-time faculty.
