Position Summary:

The Communication and Media Studies department at the University of Wisconsin - River Falls is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach up to 6 sections of our basic speech course (COMS 101) for the Spring semester. The majority of these sections are face to face on Mondays and Wednesdays. Payment is outlined at $1,300/credit with each section being 2 credits. This position is non-renewable.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Qualifications for positions in the Communication and Media Studies Department include:

1. Master’s or terminal degree in a related discipline

2. Minimum of one year of teaching experience

3. Experience in area of expertise

Additional academic preparation or experience in a specific area may be required in some departments.
