Adjunct Faculty of Interior Design, Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA

Co-teach ITDS 3044, a third year interior design studio for Fall Semester, 2022. Studio content is already in place for the fall semester.

Position Requirements: Studio meets Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 1:30pm-5:15pm and the adjunct must teach studio in person alongside the faculty member currently teaching the course. Studio projects are commercial design in focus. The applicant is expected to teach alongside faculty in the program; to interact with students during course meeting times; to meet with students during office hours (in person or virtual); to participate in formal and informal design critiques; and to interact with industry sponsors who visit the studio during the semester.

Preferred Qualifications: Masters or Bachelors degree in a design discipline with academic or professional experience in interior design; knowledge of design software such as REVIT and Adobe CC; college level teaching experience.
