Job Summary

Please note: The University of Michigan intends to conduct an innovative and responsible fall term in 2021, which will require in-person teaching in Ann Arbor, Michigan, followed by the same scenario in the winter of 2022.

Duties: Teach five undergraduate courses in voice and speech during the 2021-22 academic year (with one "class" fulfilled by coaching departmental productions). The position is responsible for teaching the entire four-semester voice sequence and teaches one semester each of Voice I, Voice II, Voice III, and Dialects. Prepare syllabi (based on already existing course materials), assess student work, and assign and submit student grades. Perform related departmental duties as required.

Qualifications: Professional experience and regional/national recognition in voice and speech, performance, with particular training and appropriate certifications in voice work.
