Job Overview

The University of Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music is seeking multiple adjuncts to teach courses in its Arts Administration department within the division of Theatre Arts, Production, Arts Administration (TAPAA)

Essential Functions

We are seeking multiple adjuncts from diverse arts disciplines and backgrounds interested in teaching a variety of subjects including arts education and community engagement, not-for-profit financial management, programming and operations, fundraising, strategic planning, cultural policy, and organizational leadership. CCM welcomes applicants from outside the Greater Cincinnati region who can be available to teach remotely in a synchronous or asynchronous online format.

Minimum Requirements

  • Academic degree in an appropriate disciple and prior teaching experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present complex material to students unfamiliar with a subject.
  • Ability to work and collaborate with individuals from a variety of culturally diverse backgrounds.

Additional Qualifications Considered

2-5 years experience in arts management, professional fundraising, and/or arts board membership preferred. Professionals with experience in related fields such as arts entrepreneurship, not-for-profit accounting, government policy and/or leadership development also encouraged to apply.
