Mercer University is accepting applications for adjunct faculty to teach in our Software Application Development and IT programs. Courses are offered during evenings and online over 8 week sessions. Mercer University College of Professional Advancement offers training and support for new adjunct faculty who want to improve their college teaching credentials.
We are especially looking for instructors in programming, database, web programming, full stack web development, agile methodology, human-computer interaction, mobile app development, cybersecurity, research, and software project management.
a. Must be a resident of the state of Georgia;
b. 18 graduate hours in computer science, information technology, or a closely related field from a nationally accredited college or university;
c. Minimum of a master’s degree from a nationally accredited institution.
a. University teaching experience, especially with working adult learners;
b. Experience with online course delivery;
c. Earned doctoral degree in computer science or closely related degree.
