Full Job Description:
Chem 112 will be taught in remote format during the fall semester. Duties include attending a session to work through and discuss the upcoming week's experiment, possibly delivering a short lab lecture at the beginning of lab, holding synchronous zoom sessions during scheduled lab time to guide students through experiments/simulations/activites, holding office hours via zoom, and grading. There would be a meeting before the session begins to prepare for the course.
Schedule and Compensation:
The Fall 2020 term for Chem 112 begins August 18 and ends December 10. As an instructor at USF, you will be hired as a part-time (adjunct) faculty.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Chemistry. Experience teaching undergraduates is strongly preferred.
