The Honors College Fellows Program is an innovative scholarly collaboration designed to enrich the educational experience of our first year students. Fellows will gain experience teaching high-achieving first-year students from a wide range of disciplines. Fellows will be leading sections of about 20 students who will work in teams of 4-5 to develop their own "social innovation solutions" to address global challenges as defined by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).The Forum is a unique course organized around plenary lectures and workshop sections that utilize project-based learning leading to a social innovation.
Minimum Education and Experience
ABD, Advanced PhD students, or doctorates preferred.
Demonstrated ability to teach at the university level.
Applicants with comparable degrees from accredited institutions may also be considered.
Prior teaching experience is highly preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Prior teaching at Rutgers is highly preferred, or at a similar institution at a college level, and/or related experiences.
