Job Description: Howard Community College is building a pool of applicants for adjunct faculty positions in Continuing Education in the areas of Real Estate. This course is approved by the Maryland Real Estate Commission for a real estate salesperson license. Successful candidate will: Introduce concepts of property types, interests in real estate, property description, agency, contract law, finance, valuation, taxation, license law, and fair housing, ethics and environmental concerns Instruct and engage students in the required Maryland pre-licensing curriculum so they are prepared to sit for the Maryland Real Estate Salesperson Requirements: Background and expertise in subject area, experience teaching or training of adults or targeted audience Bachelor's degree in business or related field is preferred Some subject areas may also require specific certifications and levels of experience/training Licensed real estate agent with a minimum of five (5) years of experience Additional Information: Our current schedule of classes may be found by clicking on Continuing Education on our web site at http://www.howardcc.edu/coned/ This pool will be accessed when an opening arises.
