Online Adjunct Healthcare Administration Instructor

Job Description Summary The College of Business at Eastern Oregon University is recruiting onsite adjunct instructor applicants to teach Undergraduate and graduate level healthcare administration courses. All such courses are delivered online. Appointment begins starting Fall term 2020. Candidates should demonstrate: Commitment to quality teaching, Effectiveness in applying technology to teaching, Ability to work effectively with students, staff, faculty, and administration. Strong communication and interpersonal skills Responsibilities Teaching responsibilities will vary depending on the specific healthcare Administration course the adjunct instructor is qualified to teach. These adjunct positions will be assigned to instruct and assess students in one or more of the following topic areas: Regulatory Compliance, Leadership in Health Services, Health Care Quality Management, Health Informatics for Healthcare Professionals, Healthcare Budgeting and Finance, Management of Human Resources and Health Professionals, Health Policy and Economics, and electives aligned with candidate's qualifications. Required Qualifications Master's in Healthcare Administration, MBA or equivalent with certification. Two years of experience as a practicing healthcare mid-level administrator. Commitment to excellence in teaching is required. Valid work authorization documents are required. Satisfactorily complete a background check. Preferred Qualifications College teaching experience in healthcare administration. Doctoral degree in healthcare administration, business or a related field.
