Job Description: The Division of Corporate and Professional Education invite applications for the following anticipated instructor vacancy for Fall 2020 PT Instructor, Excel for Accounting - Level 1 Location: Remote Dates: October 5 - Nov. 16 Day: Monday Time: 9:00 to 12:00 Instruct students to apply accounting principles using Microsoft Excel using sequential progression of material for both accounting and Excel topics, while simultaneously offering a variety of exercises that allow students to perfect the associated concepts and skills. Accounting equations, journal entries, financial statements, cash flows, inventory costing and analysis and bank reconciliation to be covered. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Create syllabus Instruct students Assess & grade Students regarding course competencies Submit grades to Division Administer evaluations. Requirements: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in related field required Remote teaching or training experience using Zoom, Google Meet, or Blackboard required Successful experience interacting with culturally diverse populations. Candidates will be required to pass a CORI/SORI and/or a National background check as a condition of employment. Additional Information: SALARY: Salary commensurate with education and experience.
