Adjunct Faculty - Cybersecurity - CISCO Part-time Adjunct Faculty Plano Campus Adjunct Faculty in the Business and Career Technology Division are responsible for providing instruction and assessing student learning. Reporting to the Assistant Dean, Adjunct Faculty prepare course syllabi and design lessons, activities, assignments, and assessments to address different learning styles and ensure that students successfully meet the course objectives and outcomes. They also incorporate learning centered principles and concepts and motivate students to actively participate in all aspects of the educational experience. The course description for the course in question is pasted below: This course will provide the skills to install, operate, and troubleshoot a small enterprise branch network, including basic network security using Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Network (WAN) and Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6). Students will have the opportunity to focus on the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Certification that validates the skills required for entry-level network support positions. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology field and CISCO CCNA certification or Associates degree in a related field, 4000 hours of work related experience in the field, and CISCO CCNA certification.
