This hire is critical to the Department's efforts to increase the online capacity to deliver the courses that compose the Leadership and Communication curriculum option of the Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Technology Management and Education and related campus majors. Duties & Responsibilities Plan, deliver and evaluate instruction in AED 309 - Leadership Principles and Practices during Summer Session 2020. The course will run from July 6 - August 21, 2020. Minimum Qualifications The hire will have a deep practical and theoretical understanding of and experiences in developing curricula specific to the Leadership and Communication curriculum option. An earned master's degree in agricultural education or an equivalent closely related area is required. Other qualifications include: three years of experience in an executive leadership position within a public/private organization with 50 employees or greater; experience in teaching at the community college and/or higher education institute. Preferred Qualifications Persons must have 3-5 years in practical administrative leadership experience and/or related education as well as substantive skills in online technologies and delivery strategies. Demonstrated knowledge in educational pedagogy/andragogy, application of technical skills, substantive skills in online technologies and delivery strategies.
