Posting Number: req1474 Department: Agric Educ Tech & Innov-Ins Location: Yuma, AZ USA Position Highlights The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences invites applications for the position of Limited Term Adjunct Lecturer in the academic unit of Agricultural Education, Technology and Innovation. This hire is critical to the Department's efforts to increase the capacity to deliver the courses that compose the Agricultural Systems Management (ASM) curriculum option of the bachelors of science in Agricultural Technology Management and Education. The Agricultural Systems Management (ASM) option is a unique academic program designed to meet the educational needs of a specialized agricultural economy in Yuma County. The ASM option is delivered through a 2-way academic partnership between Arizona Western College (AWC), and the University of Arizona, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. This hire will teach ASM 481 - Agricultural Simulation in Fall 2020. Duties & Responsibilities Plan, deliver and evaluate instruction in ASM 481 Agricultural Simulation during the Fall 2020 semester. Minimum Qualifications The hire will have a deep understanding of and experiences in developing curricula that is similar or related to the ASM curriculum option. An earned Master's degree in agricultural education or an equivalent closely related area is required. Other qualifications include: experience in teaching at the college level, demonstrated knowledge in educational pedagogy/andragogy, application of technical skills, computer skills and major forms of communication.
