Reporting to the program chair, as an adjunct instructor you would share your skills and knowledge to prepare CCCOnline students for successful careers. Using a master course template that follows Quality Matters (QM) design standards, you would personalize the course and supplemental content to provide a robust online learning experience to our students. You would also enjoy the flexibility of working from home and receive support in the form of professional development opportunities, access to an extensive library of resources, a teaching excellence program, and a community of colleagues. Anticipated Start Term: Fall 2020 Responsibilities: Use online course template as course foundation. Personalize course and supplemental content Facilitate online discussions and student engagement Provide instruction to help student meet course objectives Deliver assessments and maintain records on students' progress and attainment Regularly monitor course and meet all program deadlines Respond in a timely manner to students' and program chair's communications Collaborate with program chair to continually improve course offerings Foster inclusivity and diverse thought CCCOnline: CCCOnline students come from the 13 community colleges within our Colorado Community College System, as well as from Dawson Community College in Montana. Students take courses with us because we offer a productive and exciting way to learn - completely online. We focus on adding a human touch to the high technology of online learning, and we are committed to providing students with low-cost, high-quality courses. Adjunct Instructors for CCCOnline work remotely; as such, their physical work location is their home address, which must be a Colorado address** Requirements: Must physically work in the state of Colorado A graduate degree from an accredited institution and at least 18 graduate credit hours in American Sign Language Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Master's degree or higher specifically in American Sign Language Previous higher education teaching experience (preferably at the community college level) Online teaching experience Strong computer and Internet skills Good written communication skills Understanding of adult learning theories and ability to effectively apply this knowledge in online learning environment **CCCOnline employees must physically work in Colorado.
