The College is seeking applicants for anticipated openings for part-time adjunct faculty in the Department of Accounting, Economics and Finance. Position Description The department typically hires adjunct faculty to teach class for the subject areas/courses listed below, but this list is not comprehensive. Other courses/subject areas may become available within the department. The following courses may need coverage: Financial Accounting Managerial Accounting Cost Accounting Accounting Professional Seminar Non-Profit Accounting Macro Economics Micro Economics Statistics Principles of Finance Finance courses Required Qualifications Master's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related field from an accredited US Department of Education or an internationally recognized institution. Previous work experience or college teaching experience in related business fields. Preferred Qualifications CPA, CFA, CMA, CFE or a relevant designation. Doctorate in Business Administration or a related field from an accredited institution by the US Department of Education or an internationally recognized institution. Demonstrated effective teaching at the college level. Salary and Benefits $2,500 per 3 credit hour course (this amount may vary and if it does it requires the Dean's office and the Provost's office approval.) Health insurance is available to part-time faculty who teach six or more credits, contact hours, or credit equivalents per semester.
