Instructor needed to teach CSC 250 - Essential Computing for the Sciences in the Spring 2020 semester. Instructor will be responsible for preparing weekly lectures, assignments, and exams. They will also be responsible for managing all course assets (website, D2L, Piazza discussion board, etc.), assignment and exam grading, and supervising an undergraduate teaching assistant.

Duties & Responsibilities
Preparing and delivering lectures.
Preparing, assigning, and grading of assignments and exams.
Holding regular office hours.
Effectively managing any assigned teaching assistant in handling work associated with the course.
Additional duties may be assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Knowledge of scripting and data structures in a programming language such as Python.
Facility of UNIX operating systems, particularly file structure, regular expressions, and job control.
Essential database skills, including database accession and interfacing through a query language.

Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in a related field.
