The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences invites applications and nominations for the position of Limited Term Adjunct Lecturer in the academic unit of Agricultural Education, Technology and Innovation. This position will teach ASM 301 Ag Systems Management during the Spring 2020 semester. This hire is critical to the Department's efforts to increase the capacity to deliver the courses that compose the ASM curriculum option of the bachelors of science in Agricultural Technology Management and Education. The Agricultural Systems Management (ASM) option is a unique academic program designed to meet the educational needs of a specialized agricultural economy in Yuma County. The ASM option is delivered through a 2-way academic partnership between Arizona Western College (AWC), and the University of Arizona, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.

Duties & Responsibilities
Plan, deliver and evaluate instruction in ASM 301 - Ag Systems Management during Spring 2020.
Minimum Qualifications
The hire will have a deep understanding of, and experience in, developing curricula specific to the ASM curriculum option. An earned Master's degree in agricultural education or an equivalent closely related area is required. Other qualifications include: experience in teaching at the community college level, demonstrated knowledge in educational pedagogy/andragogy, application of technical skills, computer skills and major forms of communication.
