Job Description:

The graduate program in Special Education at Assumption College seeks candidates with interest and expertise in special education for a part-time adjunct faculty position for the Spring 2020 semester. Teaching assignments will include SED 570 Inclusion: Theory and Classroom Practice and/or pre-practicum and practicum supervision. Class meetings run from January 13th to April 30th. Courses are held at 4:30 or 7:00pm. Successful candidates may have the possibility of teaching additional courses in subsequent semesters.


Preferred applicants will have a doctorate in Special Education or a related field and previous teaching experience at the college or graduate level. Those who are ABD will be considered. Applicants must be willing to contribute actively to the mission of the College as well as show respect for the Catholic and Assumptionist identity of Assumption College.
