We invite applications for a 9- or 12- month, full-time, specialized, non-tenure track teaching faculty position with opportunities for promotion and multi-year contracts at our FSU Campus in Panama City, Florida.

Primary responsibilities are teaching a variety of core and elective courses (both online and face- to-face) in the undergraduate Computer Science program at FSU Panama City. This position also includes recruiting, mentoring, and advising students and engaging in service to the department and campus. The position begins in Fall of 2020 with the potential to start earlier (i.e., Spring or Summer 2020) if circumstances warrant it. Position Qualifications

Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or closely related field and at least three years of college teaching experience; capability to teach most courses in an ABET-accredited core curriculum in Computer Science; ability to teach online courses effectively. PhD candidates with a scheduled defense will also be considered (doctorate must be completed by time of hire). Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Previous experience teaching computer science courses online.
