Lecturer in Spanish
The Department of Spanish at the University of North Texas is seeking a full-time Lecturer in Spanish to begin September 1, 2020 (classes begin late August, 2020). The position of Lecturer comes with full benefits. Duties: Teach four undergraduate courses in Spanish language, literature and/or culture per semester. Other duties may include organizing extra-curricular activities and promoting the Spanish program. Active participation in Department meetings, activities and committees is expected.

M.A. in Spanish or related field required, native or near-native proficiency in Spanish and English; university-level teaching experience in Spanish language required. Must show commitment to departmental service.
Ph.D. preferred; experience teaching advanced level Spanish, literature, professions and culture courses preferred; experience designing and teaching online classes; experience teaching heritage learners or bilingual education.
