Published Dissertation--Examining the Role of Emotional Intelligence in the Work and Life Balance of Foster Care Workers

I desire to work at home in order to balance my work and life. I would like to have flexibility with my work schedule so that I can better monitor my teenage sons and prepare them to be home schooled. My family is important to me and I feel with freedom to set my schedule, I can engage more with my family.

I also love the online community. I have become accustomed to working at home, as I have worked at home a lot over the years whether it was school or work. I have had several remote jobs and I love my freedom. I work better alone and I feel that I am most productive when I am at liberty to stop and start at my own pace. I desire to teach as Professor or Instructor. I also have learned in my years of teaching and facilitating that I learn mostly from my students, as each student bring something new to the "table". I enjoy teaching and I hope that my information is found useful to give me the opportunity to work at your organization.
