Who isn’t looking for a better job these days? More than 36 percent of 1,000-plus people polled by the U.K. career consultancy firm Penna Sanders & Sidney said that they spent part of the first day in a new job thinking about how to get a better one (Ragan Report, July 28). Given this statistic on first-day musings, it’s safe to say that most of us are regularly keeping abreast of new or better career opportunities.
