An instructor at Lorain County Community College met with officials to discuss a woman’s request for protection while she was on the campus, an LCCC spokeswoman confirmed.
The request by Christina Painley, who said she had a relationship with Richard Banas while she was a student at the college and he was her instructor, followed Banas’s second arrest in the last two weeks after she complained to police, according to reports by the Elyria Police Department.
LCCC spokeswoman Marcia Ballinger confirmed the meeting about Painley’s request for protection, and said Painley had filed an incident report with the college.
